A nine-foot tall bronze statue of Christopher Columbus, depicted as The Evangelist, called "Columbus, the Evangelizer." Blessed by supreme chaplain Bishop Thomas V. Daily on 24 September 2000. The Museum opened for the public Spring 2001

Inscriptions:

The bronze is signed: "S. Bleifeld 2000",
and, on a small bronze plate,
":FONDERIA D'ARTE
DEL CHIARO
PIETRASANTA
LUCCA - ITALY"

Notes

In the courtyard op the Knights of Columbus Museum, situated overlooking a large fountain with cascading water steps.
In the Knights of Columbus Building is a bust of Columbus
