Description:

In a small park in the center of the Avenida de San Juan de Puerto Rico near the harbour there is a huge anchor and a boulder with a memorial plaque. It refers particularly to Columbus' second voyage and one of the crew members of that voyage, Bartolomé Pérez, who was from Rota. See also the other monuments for Perez in Rota.
